Hawk in the yard

This juvenile Cooper's Hawk hung out in the apple tree for quite awhile yesterday morning allowing me some digiscoping practice. I don't have the best scope and the tripod is a little wobbly but it was fun to try. I read the Stokes Blog about digiscoping hints and that helped me a lot.

Very cool! Richard is into the digiscoping thing now too. He is even suggesting maybe we should sell our big lens and get a scope instead. Might be fun!

Awesome! We need to learn digiscoping. It looks like a lot of fun and you can get great shots with them.
